After many successful years in sales and management within architecture and construction, Paul wanted a change and chose residential and investment real estate as his new career. After experience in commercial real estate and as an individual real estate investor he wanted to fulfill a desire to share his love and enthusiasm for Chicago's neighborhoods and their beauty. Having spent his entire adult life in Chicago, Paul understands the diversity and the different lifestyles offered by each of the city's neighborhoods; knowledge he is able to share with his clients. Since moving to town, Paul has lived in Lincoln Park, McKinley Park, Ravenswood, Roscoe Village, Lakeview, and Rogers Park, each offering its own unique experience.

I am true fan of Paul Solitro from Dream Town Realty!
I need to start this review saying that since I am a foreigner my knowledge about real state and buying a property in USA was almost zero at the time I began the search for a place to live. Back in 2009, I was looking to buy a condominium with many specifications in a short period. Interestingly, my family in Panama trying to give me a hand searched the web and found Paul Solitro. Immediately, he called long distance to Panama and spent hours talking to my dad who owns a large real estate company. After their conversation, my dad called me and told me that Paul was very knowledgeable and that I should work with him. Since day one, Paul and I made a great connection and I cannot emphasize enough how great my experience was. He was extremely patient, did not put any pressure, showed me all the places that I wanted to see, and made the showing trips extremely fun and effective. After a few month of intensive search (considering that I was traveling from Philadelphia on the weekends just to see properties) we found the perfect place and a not many weeks later I the keys of my new place in hand.
Paul is amazing, seriously! When it came to moving into my new place, he actually acted like my best friend would. One time he even stayed at my place waiting for the furniture to arrive since I was at work and did not had anybody in Chicago to help me. Many other times long after we had closed the deal, Paul continued to help me without the slight intention of secondary gain.
My overall experience with Paul was excellent (I would give six stars if possible). I found exactly what I was looking in the house and at the same time, I made a real friend. Nowadays, Paul's family and mine are good friends and I am sure that this friendship will continue to grow.

I see that other reviewers are a fan of Paul Solitro. This strikes me as strange because I received so much attention and hard work from him, I could swear that he's never had a client other than me.
When I bought my wonderful home in lakeview last year, Paul exercised extreme patience and tolerance with a 25 yr old girl who expected just about every luxury available and on my budget.
Paul was diligent in finding places that met all my (rather crazy) demands and we spent many an hour cruising around and checking out homes. Little known (very known?) secret about Paul: he doesn't see any home viewing trip as complete without a stop in at the local watering hole.
If I could, I'd even give him an extra star because once he took me home shopping in a sweet old restored car he's got. Also, he gave me Cubs tickets on several occasions.
But probably most importantly, Paul helped me find exactly what I was looking for. He was on my side through the entire process and even came to my house warming party a month after close.
I will absolutely use him again next time I put myself through the pain of a move.
Do yourself a favor. Call Paul next time you need to buy a house. Tell him "Sharkey" sent you.

As I was monitoring my searches on Dream Town's website, I received a call one evening from Paul Solitro, which makes my dream of finding my dream home in my dream town come true!

Knowledge: Paul really knows the properties, neighbourhoods, and figured out my needs/wants/style very quickly. He was able to filter through hundreds of listings and suggest the units that fit well to my likings.
Professionalism: Paul does his homework behind the scene to make every condo search trip smooth and seamless. I still have the stack of booklets he prepared that contained the key info on the units we have viewed on the countless trips we went on.
Hard-working and Patience: Paul was super responsive, pro-active, resourceful, and he followed my pace of decision making with extreme patience. Even my families at one point were telling Paul to fire me given my endless requests.
Finding a home can be stressful, however, Paul makes it easy, fun and enjoyable. Now sitting on my balcony looking at the sailboats floating elegantly in and out of the harbor, I could go on and on about how great of a realtor Paul is. Enough said. You've got my points!

My wife and I worked with Paul Solitro and he was extremely knowledgeable of the Lincoln Park/Lake View area. We started out not knowing exactly where we wanted to be and what kind of condo we wanted. Paul was very patient and showed us countless properties. We now have a beautiful "duplex down" just north of Wrigley Field and are very happy in our new home. The Dream Town website was very helpful and we appreciated the daily email updates on changes.
