Dan, a native of New York, has called Chicago home since 2005. Even though his east coast pizza loyalties keep him away from the coveted deep-dish, we decided to keep all 6'5" of him on board for his NCAA basketball skills. His skills go way beyond the court though. Dan is actually an accomplished writer, international presenter, and professor who earned a Ph.D. in Cultural Foundations of Education from Syracuse University ("Let's Go Orange!" he proudly chants in a baritone bellow). He uses this advance degree to help educational leaders and adult learners better understand the reciprocal relationships between schools and society.
So, when you decide to have a coffee with Dan, get ready to wax philosophical and open up about your own learning experiences. You'll be on your third cup before you know it.
